The cost of PCB manufacturing entirely depends on the board size and layout. Hence, we take the following factors into consideration while determining a board size.
• The board size should be larger than the available area.
• We maintain the tolerance value of ±3mil during the manufacturing. This value is taken into consideration while deciding the board size.
• Type of enclosure is another factor that we emphasize on while deciding the board size.
• In case the customer does not mention the board size, we take the decision by considering a standard board size + area required for mounting components + area required for traces. The number of traces and the number of layers are balanced to avoid conflicts.
